Photos from Ibn Tulun Mosque in Said el Zayeb, a section of Cairo. It was a beautiful mosque and we had an amazing view from the minaret.

Amazing! The view and the fact that it was strangely empty. I saw some beutiful mosques in Singapore, but they were always crawling with active worshippers or loafers that kind of deterred me from entering.
Ooh. That's my favorite Cairo mosque. So peaceful after the din of the street. Beautiful photos!
